There’s nothing quite like grabbing breakfast for brunch on a lazy Sunday morning. Whether you’re a Nashville native or just visiting the city, Nashville’s Midtown neighborhood (and home to Music Row) offers some of the best brunch spots in the city. From classic Southern dishes to unique twists on brunch favorites, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Here are some of the top brunch spots you won’t want to miss when you visit.

1. Hopsmith Tavern

Hopsmith Tavern is a unique, three-story restaurant and bar located in the heart of Midtown that offers a fun and lively atmosphere for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Whether you’re looking for a classic breakfast burrito, a hearty breakfast skillet, or something sweeter and inventive like their creative Flintstones and S’mores French toast options, you’re sure to not leave disappointed.

Every level of this "house" showcases a nostalgic theme, meticulously crafted to instill a sense of warmth and familiarity in all who visit. Creating a vibrant and lively ambiance, Hopsmith Nashville's standout feature is none other than an actual car adorning its bar.

2. The Row Kitchen & Pub

The Row is a staple in the Nashville brunch scene, and for good reason. Their brunch menu serves up Southern comfort food with a modern twist and offers a mix of delicious classic starters like biscuits and gravy to house made sides and yummy scrambles.

Some of their proclaimed favorites include breakfast mac, a brunch BLT, an Eggs Benedict with BBQ sauce, and hot chicken with French toast for the perfect combination of sweet and spicy, of course. And while their brunch menu is available seven days a week, The Row also supplies a Make-Your-Own Bloody Mary Bar, offered exclusively on Saturday and Saturday

3. Sun & Fork

Sun & Fork takes a modern approach to brunch by elevating classic dishes with creative ingredients that they serve all day long. Their elevated egg sandwich with bacon, Gruyère cheese, and an over-easy cage-free egg is a must try, as are their omelets and smoothie bowls affixed with their whole grain artisan toast with almond butter and Maldon Sea Salt.

Sun & Fork’s coffee is also a crowd-pleaser, as they use beans handpicked from female coffee growers – ‘Mujeres en Café' or Women in Coffee through Project Sunriseto make their delicious brews.

4. Midtown Cafe

Midtown Cafe is overflowing with recognition for their delicious food offerings, from OpenTable spotlights to articles by The Tennessean and The New York Times, it’s no surprise that Midtown Cafe is one of the best brunch spots in the city. A staple in Midtown Nashville for over thirty years, Midtown Cafe offers a casual, affordable, and cozy dining atmosphere and serves up classic American fare with a Southern twist. Whether you want to start your day with avocado toast, a build-your-own omelet, or shrimp and grits, this top spot is sure to leave you happy and full.
