Pet dogs and cats are welcome at select Placemakr properties, subject to the following and any other restrictive guidelines set forth in the Building Rules:

Each guest who brings a pet to a Placemakr property will be subject to a one-time, non-refundable pet cleaning fee of $100 to cover the costs of additional housekeeping required to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests that stay in units following the presence of a dog or cat.

Each guest shall be permitted to bring a maximum of two pets (each of which shall be no more than sixty (60) pounds) per guest unit.

Guests who bring pets to their guest unit and do not declare such pets at check-in will be charged a non-refundable $200 penalty fee.

Guests shall be responsible to ensure that their pet(s) are up to date with all flea, tick and other pests. If there is a need to treat the guest unit for fleas, ticks or other pests, Placemakr will charge the guest for all out-of-pocket costs incurred by Placemakr in connection with pest control services required to exterminate such pests.

Guests shall only walk their dogs in designated dog walking areas.

Guests shall be solely responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Pets are restricted from entering any area that is not designated as “pet friendly.” The foregoing restriction does not apply to service animals.

Guests must keep their pet(s) on a leash and under control at all times in common areas.

Guests may only take their pets off-leash in guest units.

To the extent that a guest’s pet causes damage to a guest unit, Placemakr will charge its out-of-pocket costs incurred to repair such damage to the guest.

If a guest’s pet is in a guest unit when housekeeping comes to service the guest unit, the guest must have their pet secured in a kennel. Alternatively, guests may remove the pet from the guest unit while housekeeping services are provided.

If Placemakr receives a noise complaint about a guest’s pet(s), the staff will contact the guest who owns the pet(s) to address the situation. If the noise issue continues, Placemakr reserves the right to request removal of the pet from the property.

You agree to release, indemnify, save, and hold Placemakr, its affiliated companies, members, employees, agents and its third-party suppliers, licensors, and partners harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, including legal fees and expenses, arising out of any incident involving your pet at a property or in a guest unit. Placemakr reserves the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter involving your pet for which you are required to indemnify Placemakr, and you agree to cooperate with Placemakr’s defense of such matter. Placemakr will use reasonable efforts to notify you of any such claim, action, or proceeding upon becoming aware of it.

Service animals and emotional support animals must follow all the above rules to the extent consistent with federal, state and local law, or Placemakr shall have the right (but not the obligation) to request removal of such animals.
If you arrive at a property with your pet without having received prior approval, or if your pet is substantially different than described when approved, you may not be allowed to check-in. In this event, your reservation will be cancelled and you may still be charged for your stay. Placemakr will permit service animals in accordance with federal, state, and local law.
